This is the long, long out of production one piece capacitor for the Fender Princeton, Princeton Reverb, and black or silverface Champ or Vibro Champ.
It has four filter caps inside, and is a silver can, just like the original.
HOT TIP!
It is hard to get these caps out of the amp because Fender used a super-high watt soldering iron to solder the tabs to the chassis.
Some people have also used a super hot iron to unsolder them - but this heats up the chassis too much - not a good idea with the parts mounted.
We have, at times used a dremel tool to cut through the solder - ok, but it clogs up the cutter real fast and becomes expensive.
BUT - the easy way is to just knock the old solder joints loose. Soldering to the chassis is not a good idea because it does not stick real well - this is true of Fenders work and the joints can easily be broken with a few hits from a chisel -
