This is the best current EL84 tube (6BQ5 is the same.) Great tone in those Mesa Boogies, Matchless, Pevey, Carvin, Vox, & Torres Prince Tone amps. A bit more power than the stock tubes, solid rock tone, and/or clarity. They sound quite a bit like Mullards. Price is per tube in matched sets. |
