Full Channel Switching (LED indicator footpedal included). Two completely independent channels. Channel #1 is clean, Vox AC30 tone. Crisp and clear with that classic Vox Vibe. BUT - there is more to the DM-2000 Clean channel. It also has a "mode switch" Push Pull pot that changes the clean sound to the tone of a Plexi Marshall clean tone. Overdrive is high gain, "crunch" Marshall - the Torres "Brown Sound" tone. Strong overdrive with classic high gain Marshall tone. BUT there is more to the DM-2000 overdrive channel too - it also has a mode switch to change from the "Brown sound" tone to a modern super high gain tone, similar to a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier or Soldano amp. Beautiful tube/tranformer driven spring reverb on both channels, plus tube buffered effects loop (optional Parallel loop) Preamp tubes: 1 x 5751, 4 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AT7 Power tubes are EL34 on all standard models. combo 2 x 10" Jensen Mod speakers. |
