You would think someone would have thought of this before !!! No loss of ANYTHING only a gain in great tone. Replace the Phase Inverter/Vibrato tube with a special tube having half a 12AX7 for the vibrato and half a 12AU7 for the Phase Inverter. Since there is no gain in the Cathodyne Phase Inverter you can get a great improvement in tone and response from the 12AU7 type stage. Returning to stock operation is too simple for words.
