A new real audio 12AT7 from EH, using the same low noise technology of the 12AX7 EH. This is a beautiful sounding tube, with all the right characteristics of a NOS 12AT7 but lower noise and higher quality. Many amps use the 12AT7 as the phase-inverter, driver, and most Fenders use it as the Reverb Driver. A 12AT7 has lower gain than a 12AX7 but can handle a much stronger signal input and is far more capable of driving difficult loads such as power tubes and reverb tanks. This is the best new tube developed in a long time. Recommended.
