This is a KIT to rebuild the amp, remove the printed circuit board and replace with a new hand-wired point to point, MUCH SIMPLER high quality amp design. Our boogie mite has become incredibly popular - tone quality and usefulness is "off the chart" as a favorite for musicians everywhere. Everyone has been asking for more versions of the “Boogie Mite” high gain amp with its incredible tonal range and lots of options.
The New “ Super Boogie Mite” has a normal gain input with a classic “Fender-Like” full tone control set, Treble, Bass, midrange, volume, presence and Super Bass. It also has an extra high gain jack with another stage of tube gain and it’s own gain control. This allows you to overdrive the preamp for the classic Boogie singing sustain and fat, creamy overdrive. A new design Dual Stage master gives further control, and a cool new high tech low noise performance power supply mod to make an amp so quiet you can not tell it is on!! The Super Boogie Mite also has: gain boost on the high gain tube stage, bright switch, gain boost switch, midrange boost switch - lots of tone modification capacity for a really versatile amp. The Boogie Mite amps have become our most popular amp, with many owners saying it is the best sounding amp in the world. The amp is converted to EL34 tubes (included with the kit) and has the new Torres Design Presence and SUPER BASS controls added. The SUPER BASS is a great low end boost control unlike any other amp. it works within the feedback circuit and gives the amp a huge bottom end bass response boost for amazing tone. This is a fairly easy to build all-tube design without the channel switching or reverb - its appeal is the absolutely fantastic High Gain Boogie-like tone, plus the incredible natural, smooth clean tone and it is an EZ kit to build in these popular amps. the amp still uses its three 12AX7 preamp tubes, plus the two new EL34 power tubes. Power is the same as before. 40W for the Blues Series, 60W for the Deville Series. Rectification is a Torres Custom dual GZ34 "Copper Cap" for rectifier tube sag and warm tone. The kit includes the Torres Custom point-to-point Eyelet board, all the high quality orange drop capacitors, Carbon Composition resistors, new pots, switchcraft jacks, ceramic tube sockets, new power supply filter caps, and color illustrated instructional layouts - even wire, everything to do the modification to your existing Blues Deville, Blues Deluxe , Hotrod Deville, or Hotrod Deluxe Fender amp (any year). in-shop installation is available also and kits to build the entire amp will be available soon. this is a medium to easy kit requiring soldering experience, assembling electronic parts and some metal work (drilling holes, screws, nuts, bolts etc.) You should be aware of what an amp looks like and you will assemble the parts to the circuit board.
