We have had these harnesses in our custom guitars for years, and everyone has really loved them. This setup is far more versatile, and much easier to use than the standard "old fashioned" setup. You still have two volumes, one for each pickup, but the pots are optimized for your pickups, usually with a Torres custom 1 meg in the bridge and a 500k in the neck. Both volume controls have the Torres Volume Kit installed, but, again, optimized for the bridge and neck pickup (different specs.) The real cool thing is the tone control setup. Instead of the relatively useless two tone thing, the Torres PowerBucker Harness has a master midrange to allow you to cut the mids and get a cleaner tone, and a master tone control. Both controls work on both pickups, and all pickup combinations. but there is more. The tone control is also a push-pull pot that allows for either: #1. A switch of the tone control slope, changing from a subtle slight roll-off (the "Woman Tone") to the Torres Modified "Magic Tone" control slope. Or: (no cost option) the push pull pot can still be a tone control, and the push-pull function can be used to disconnect both tone controls from the circuit for a complete tone circuit bypass, a real favorite of players everywhere! click the TONE BYPASS version on the list below.
