The modification involves changing some parts on the circuit board and relocating a couple of leads The Normal volume becomes the master volume, and the existing Bright channel is the preamp volume. One jack gives you the standard tone (bright channel) the other activates the new high gain stage for a whole lot more tube-gain. easy to use and great tone.
