We made the 5V4 very, very popular using it in our amps and recommending it to musicians all over for many years. Now the NOS tubes have become very expensive, and luckily we have this nice Sovtek tube at a good price. Smaller bottle too so it fits everywhere. Great replacement for 5Y3 tubes for longer overall amp life. Many web sites are actings as if they just "discovered" this tube. It is included in "Inside Tube Amps" 9 years ago.!! The fact that it is harder to find NOS 5V4/GZ32's is due to our customers knowing about it for a very long time - we have sold thousands of the NOS tubes. The Sovtek tube has very good 5V4 performance. IMPORTANT NOTE: The writing on these tubes is Russian Cyrilic - the V looks like a U. Very odd. Just take note when you get your tube. |
